The Veterinary Control module allows you to schedule periodic check-ups to ensure the health and welfare of your livestock by setting the frequency of inspections and defining automatic verification criteria.
1️⃣ Main form fields
- Date of last check-up
- Select the date when the last veterinary control was performed.
- This date serves as the starting point to calculate upcoming check-ups based on the frequency you define.
- Frequency
- Indicate how often the check-up will be performed. Options:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
- Every: number of time units between check-ups (Example: “Daily + Every 40” = every 40 days).
- Ends
- Define when the veterinary control protocol ends:
- Never: the protocol repeats indefinitely.
- On (date): ends on a specific date.
- After: ends after a certain number of repetitions.
2️⃣ Additional check options
Below the frequency, you can enable/disable automatic criteria to include in each review:
- Check all animals under treatment or sick
- Enable automatic reviews for animals already receiving medical care.
- Check animals with body condition score less than 2 points
- Identify animals with low body condition score for special monitoring.
- Check growing animals not meeting optimal weight gain goals
- Monitor young animals' development to adjust feeding or management.
