User Guide – Farm Map in IdeasFarm

The Farm Map is the central tool to visually and graphically manage all productive areas of your farm: paddocks, crops, pens, maternity areas, quarantines, and infirmary. From here, you can plan grazing, record crops, manage animal handling areas, and track the status of each plot in real-time.


Main Features

1. Satellite Map View

Indicator Description
Area code and name Example: A-002
Size In hectares (Ha)
Current capacity KgDM/Ha
Area status Resting, in use, planting, etc.

Information Details
Last grazing, cutting, fertilization, irrigation, etc.
Accumulated and projected production
Associated costs Maintenance, fertilization, etc.
Productivity indicators Daily growth, residual goal, projected capacity, etc.

From the side panel, you can access specific management forms.


Available Forms

1. New Grazing / Crop

Form to record productive land use. Includes:

Field Detail
Paddock name and code
Area Ha
Creation/planting date
Crop type and variety
Last grazing and exit date
Post-grazing assessment date and result
Productivity goals kgDM/Ha and residual
Harvest direction
Paddock color on the map

This form is the same for grazing and crops.

2. New Pen

Similar form to the paddock but intended for animal handling areas:

Creation date
Associated animal lot
Pen color on the map
