📘 User Guide – Salary Records

The IdeasFarm Salaries module allows detailed tracking of farm employees and the payments they generate based on their work schedule, position, and payment method. This module connects with users registered in IdeasFarm, ensuring that salaries can only be assigned to active employees in the system.


1. Accessing the module


2. Registering a new employee

For a worker to be assigned in the system, they must first be created as an active user in IdeasFarm. This is managed in:

Management & Protocol > Control > User Administration

Once the user is confirmed:

  1. Click + New within the Salaries module.
  2. The Register Employee window will open.
  3. Fill in the following fields:
    • User: Select the employee registered in IdeasFarm.
    • Work Schedule: Full-time or part-time.
    • Position: Administrative or Operational.
    • Payment Type: Per day, per hour, or per month.
  4. Click Save to confirm.

3. Salary management

The main table displays the following information:

4. Recording employee activities

Each employee has a monthly activity detail that allows distributing hours worked across different cost centers:

  1. Select the worker from the table and open the Activities option.
  2. Click + New to register a period.
  3. Enter:
    • Month and Year
    • Hours dedicated to each area:
      • Feeding
      • Reproduction and Health
      • Milk Quality
      • Administrative and Others
  4. The system automatically calculates total hours and assigns monthly payment according to the defined method.
  5. Save the changes so they reflect in the Income Statement.

5. Relation to the Income Statement

All recorded salaries are automatically assigned to the corresponding cost category within the farm's financial reports:

This ensures that profitability calculations are accurate and reflect personnel expenses in each area of the farm.
