Vaccination Entry Module Guide
This module allows recording the administration of vaccines to the farm animals, ensuring compliance with vaccination protocols previously configured in the system.
How does the Vaccination screen work?
1. Selecting the group to vaccinate
- At the top right, there is the Filter option.
- Here you must select the group of animals (e.g., Heifers, Calves, Milking Cows, etc.).
- Once selected, the page will reload, showing the vaccination protocols available for that group.
2. Selecting the protocol
- The drop-down list of vaccines only displays protocols registered for the selected group.
- The user must choose the protocol to be applied.
- Once selected, the screen will reload, showing the animals in the group that meet the conditions to receive that vaccine.
3. Selecting animals to vaccinate
- A table will display the animals available for vaccination.
- You must check the Vaccinate column for the animals that will receive the dose.
- It is possible to select one, several, or all animals.
4. Recording the vaccination
- Once the animals are selected, click the Register button.
- The system will validate the available stock in inventory.
- ⚠️ Important: If there is insufficient stock of the selected vaccine, the system will not allow the registration to continue.
5. Confirmation and storage
- After saving, the animals will be registered with the applied vaccination.
- The information will be reflected in each animal’s record and in vaccination reports.
User Recommendations
- Before applying any vaccine, ensure that the vaccine is correctly configured in Vaccination Protocols.
- Always check the available stock in the medication inventory before starting the registration.
- Remember that only vaccines registered in protocols can be applied. If you need to register a new vaccine, do so first from the Protocols > Vaccination section.
- Following vaccination schedules is essential to maintain herd health and productivity.
